Through a dream of a better educational experience for my children and an idea to share this opportunity with other families, 

Naturally Nurtured Forest School was created.

Hello, and welcome! Naturally Nurtured is a multi-year dream in the making that is finally becoming a reality.  I have been homeschooling my 3 elementary age children since 2017. I knew instinctively that traditional public education was not the right fit for our family. I wanted my children to know themselves, and know the world around them.  Traditional schooling benefits the masses but not the individual.  I wanted a place where my children would be celebrated for their individuality and not  pressured to conform to the accepted norms.

Our homeschool journey started with the idea that most everything you need to know can be taught, learned and experienced through life and the natural world. I used terms like "unschooling" and "natural learning", but it wasn't until the Spring of 2019 that I stumbled upon the term Forest School, and finally found our educational home.

Forest School was the missing piece, and now I want to share my passion with others in my community.
